Nittany Networking Events
Nittany Networking Events are dynamic, interactive, multi-faceted programs that create avenues for Penn Staters to meet each other and build professional connections. It's a time for Penn Staters to talk, professionally brainstorm, and share their mutual Penn State experience.
May 17 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. “Career Success and Personal Branding"
Cranbury Inn, Cranbury NJ - Join other Penn Staters living in the New Jersey area for an opportunity to make new connections and enhance existing relationships at a Nittany Networking Event at the Cranbury Inn. This event will feature Penn State alumnus Wanda Hope ‘87, VP of Commercial Analytics and Operations at Janssen Pharmaceuticals who will be presenting ways to take charge of your career including how to leverage your personal brand for success.
The evening is $15 for all members of the Penn State Alumni Association, Penn State Central New Jersey and Penn State Northern New Jersey and $25 for non-members. BONUS: You will receive a FREE year of membership to the Central New Jersey Chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association!

May 29 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. “Networking for Busy Professionals: 13 Tips You can Implement Today”
Montclair Public Library, Montclair NJ - Join us as we welcome some recent graduates who will be living and working in the Northern NJ area. This networking event is a terrific way to welcome new alumni to the area, see friends, build new connections, and gain new tips that even the busiest of professionals can use. In today's competitive workplace, even you if have a job you love, "who you know" and "who knows you" are as important as “what you know”. Both job seekers and established professionals will gain valuable tips for evaluating and improving their networking tools and strategies, all while enjoying Berkey Creamery ice cream and Diner stickies.
This event is free to all members of the Penn State Alumni Association and the Northern New Jersey Chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association. All Penn Staters who graduated in the last year are also free. Please use the member tab for registration. Non-members can register for $10.
