Statement: Hello, fellow alumni. It has been my privilege and honor to participate as an Alumni Council member since the spring of 2010. This privilege and honor was afforded by virtue of my Penn State Berks Alumni Society presidency. I am also a past president of the alumni society, serving 1995–97, and have been active since 1988. I ask you to allow me to serve for the next three years as an elected Alumni Council member.
As you can see by my information below, I have been an active alumni volunteer. I am most proud of our society’s work. During the past year we have increased our endowed scholarship by $5,000 through our programs. It has been a pleasure working with our society’s board, and I will continue to do so as immediate past president. During my first time with the society, I helped fund and endow our society scholarship. I was the student representative from the Department of Geography to the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences Student Council.
I would like to continue my Alumni Council work with the Awards Committee and with the Diversity Committee to encourage the start and growth of new alumni interest and affiliate program groups.
I know and have worked with many alumni and Alumni Council members, past and present. I appreciate your consideration so that I may continue to work for the best Alumni Association in the world on Alumni Council.
WE ARE … PENN STATE!!! NOW and FOR THE FUTURE.
