Statement: I have been honored to serve on Alumni Council for over 10 years. Initially, I represented the Schuylkill Campus Alumni Society, and I am currently serving my third full term as an elected member of our Alumni Council. I respectfully ask for your support in returning me to Alumni Council for another term.

On Alumni Council, I have served on the Diversity Committee, the Program Development Committee, and the Awards Committee. We work with, support, and provide funding to our student organizations from the “We Are” campaign for civil behavior on campus, to our commonwealth campus’ Lion Ambassadors and Blue & White organizations. We also recognize individuals and organizations that exemplify the mission of Penn State and the Alumni Association.

I am a charter member of the board of directors of the Schuylkill Campus Alumni Society. We continue to support award-winning alumni events and scholarships, recognize distinguished alumni achievement, and work with campus student groups. I have been privileged to chair the award-winning event “Penn State Day at Knoebels” sponsored by a total of 11 alumni societies and chapters.

Our University’s greatest challenge is the high cost of tuition for moderate-income families and especially for first-generation college students. Our students now graduate with significant debt. The Alumni Association’s Grassroots Network plays a vital role in encouraging state government to increase support to levels comparable with other state universities. Please join and help us help them.

For the Glory….
