Statement: Pride. We all know that feeling that being a Penn Stater brings. Sometimes it is swelling pride as you watch students raise millions for THON or the Nittany Lions run onto the field for a big game, and sometimes it is in the smallest thing such overhearing someone’s cell phone ring the fight song or seeing a car on the highway with a Penn State sticker.

My proud Penn State moments include hearing “We Are” across a crowded airport when I’m wearing my Penn State gear, being part of the Dance Marathon Overall Committee, marching on the field with the Blue Band when I was on the silk squad, and being part of Alumni Council for this amazing University.

I bring to the table my past experience on Alumni Council and on the Executive Committee, my seven years of knowledge having served as alumni director for the Penn State Bellisario College of Communications, and my experience as alumni director at the University of Pennsylvania, all of which would help me be a valuable member of council.

My true passion is helping our volunteer leaders become even better at leading our numerous alumni chapters and organizations. Through my efforts on Alumni Council, I hope to strengthen our leadership training and resources so our alumni can enjoy their experiences and create even more Penn State memories. I am privileged to be part of the Penn State community and I promise to bring my passion and dedication to the Penn State Alumni Council.
