Volunteers are the core of the Grassroots Network. It's the 30,000 individual members of the Grassroots Network—alumni, students, parents, faculty, staff, and friends of Penn State—who make its efforts successful.
Being a Grassroots Network volunteer doesn't take a lot of time and the Grassroots Network provides volunteers with the resources and tools to effectively reach out to legislators on important issues. Monthly e-newsletters keep volunteers informed about important legislative issues and "action alerts" are sent out when an issue requires immediate attention.
Whether you live in Pennsylvania or Alaska, all Penn State friends can show their support for Penn State by joining the Grassroots Network.
