Council: David C. Han ‘88, ‘05g
David C. Han '88, '05g is the 75th president of the Penn State Alumni Association, serving July 1, 2007 to June 30, 2009. Han has served on Alumni Council since 2000, on the Alumni Association Executive Board since 2001, and as the Alumni Association vice president two years prior to becoming president. After graduating with a bachelor's degree in Biology from Penn State in 1988, Han went on to earn his M.D. from Harvard Medical School in 1992. He completed his training in vascular surgery at the Mayo Clinic in 1999, before joining the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. Han went on to complete a masters degree in Health Evaluation Sciences from the Penn State College of Medicine in 2005. Professionally, Han is a vascular surgeon at the Hershey Medical Center, as well as an assistant professor of surgery and radiology, and program director of the Vascular Surgery Fellowship at Penn State College of Medicine and Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. Han lives in Hummelstown, Pa., with his wife, Elizabeth '91; son, Andrew; and daughter, Abby. |
