Societies
Societies connect alumni to an academic unit such as the College of Agricultural Sciences, the Graduate School, and Penn State Altoona. Every college and most Penn State locations have a society. Alumni societies' activities and programs vary but often include mentoring programs between current students and alumni, networking events for alumni and students, and student recruitment activities. Society members may also act as informal advisory boards to college deans and campus leaders.
