Programs Dues Support

In addition to tangible benefits like discounts, The Penn Stater magazine and other publications, and access to Alumni Career Services and other resources, Alumni Association members' dues also help to support programs and opportunities for students and alumni alike.


Student Groups/Programs

Networking & Mentoring

LionLink is a professional networking program that helps students and alumni explore various career options through informational interviews with alumni volunteers.

FastStart helps African American, Latino/Hispanic, and Asian and Pacific Americans as well as those students who simply want to get their college careers off to a fast start by matching them with faculty/staff and alumni mentors. 


Alumni Admissions Volunteer Program

More than 1,000 alumni across the country currently volunteer with this program.


Reunions, Pep Rallies, and Homecoming

The Alumni Association sponsors pep rallies at away games, reunions, and a number of Homecoming events each year.



The Alumni Association sponsors and supports a number of awards including the Honorary Alumni Award, Alumni Fellow Award, Alumni Achievement Award, Diversity Award, Friend of Penn State legislative award, the Recent Alumna/Alumnus Award, and others. More information on awards is available here


Parents & Families Weekend

Special days filled with college open houses, information, and fun are planned especially for parents and families of current students.
