Big 10 Conference Cruise to Alaska

Join the “Penn State family” and all of our Big Ten counterparts as we experience the beauty and majesty of Alaska—America’s last frontier. This unique opportunity to visit the storied coastal towns made famous during the rush for gold in the 1880s and view natural wonders such as Hubbard Glacier, the largest tidewater glacier in North America, will surely be a trip of a lifetime. Richard Alley, renowned glaciologist and professor in Penn State’s College of Earth and Mineral Sciences, will share his expertise with travelers and discuss his research of the great ice sheets.
